{"id":612,"date":"2022-01-16T20:25:29","date_gmt":"2022-01-16T20:25:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lucyaldridge.com\/?p=612"},"modified":"2022-01-19T11:22:02","modified_gmt":"2022-01-19T11:22:02","slug":"612","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lucyaldridge.com\/index.php\/2022\/01\/16\/612\/","title":{"rendered":"Standing poses with support."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Iyengar yoga is known for the use of &#8220;props&#8221; and these props are used to improve a yoga practice in so many ways.<br \/>\nJust recently I have found myself admiring tables, chairs, railings and so on, not for their beauty but as a potential yoga prop.<br \/>\nSome objects are just the perfect height, width and strength to do the job.<br \/>\nWith a little bit of imagination, a baked bean can becomes a yoga brick, a pile of old magazines (taped together) a foam pad and some railings by the sea&#8230;&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>The wind was icy cold but the sun was shining.<br \/>\nHere are a few standing poses that sprung to mind whilst hanging around the railings at Hayle river mouth.<\/p>\n<p>Please make sure any objects you do use are strong and suitable.
